You can apply for scholarships at any point in your academic career as long as you meet the requirements. 

Make an email account just for receiving communications from the scholarship sites you sign up with. You will get A LOT of emails and it's great to have a dedicated email account just for them. Keep it professional so that you can use this email to apply to scholarships and other funding opportunities. Make it unique, and not just your name, so that it stands out as the email address for this purpose. Ex: jsmith.education23@gmail.com or joesmith.scholar22@gmail.com. 

Always check with your colleges of choice, trade schools, and school guidance office for future scholarship offerings.

Here are some great sites to start your funding research. Create an account on the sites of your choice, and use your "Funding Opportunity Log Booklet" to keep track of your applications, accompanying paperwork, and deadlines.
